IARCAC - The Institute for Association Resource Control and Colaboration
IARCAC launched as a nonprofit 501c3 charity focusing on governance because resource control by associations (not the authoritarian or market based control at opposite ends of the spectrum of absolute state control to completely uncontrolled markets) where the association's members have set up mechanisms to control their own behaviors is a way to address the problems of controlling climate change, artificial intelligence and biotech so that these bolster the flourishing of humanity, instead of humanity being servile to them.
The mission of IARCAC is to promote resource control by associations. This control is especially needed in the areas of social media and other technology where societal problems are evidently ( The Film - The Social Dilemma) being generated. Resources can be thought of as being in one of two broad categories; physical and human. The resource of human cooperation is b ased on trust and trust is the resource that the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has controlled for decades.
Having just formed on 11-08-2021, the only staff and volunteer at this point is, the Institute for Association Resource Control's (IARC's) Governance Vice President, Douglas Alan Hartz. Doug’s background is provided in a separate page here, at Staff Detail (iarcac.org), and on LinkedIn, at (31) Douglas Hartz | LinkedIn.
